Bentley
We adopted "Bentley" on February 5 2005 when he was just a 1 year old pup. We switched his name to "Murphy" which he immediately took to. We have a 9 year old daughter Meghan who treats Murphy as if he were her little brother. If a picture could tell a story just take a look at Meghan and Murphy around the Christmas Tree this past 2005 holiday. Both their smiles show their happiness and affection for each other. Thank you SOS Beagle for bringing Murphy to us. Diane Marty Meghan and Murphy Quigley
Madison
My family and I adopted Madison, a 17 month old, female beagle from a very nice foster mommy in New Jersey (SOS Foster Family). Madison is a very happy, extremely sweet, soft like silk little girl. She's a cuddle bug by nature, but currently experiencing her terrible two syndrome. But we love her and adore her puppy like behavior. We work past the shoe stealing, the toy destroying and the affection hogging stuff and help her learn right from wrong. After losing our beloved Maggie Mae in October, we were heart broken and very sad most of the time. But we were very concerned for our 8 year old Beagle/Basset Hound Buddy. He missed his sister so much that he had no spark in his eyes as he once did, he wouldn't eat right and he didn't have the desire to play or even bark. When Madison came home with us, his life changed once again. All of our dogs are rescues and have already had bad luck in their pasts... we needed to find another furbaby to keep my prince young and happy again. Madison has brought some much needed energy into our home and although Maggie Mae is not forgotten... the pain is less severe with little Maddy running around keeping our minds occupied. We already love her and having her in our home has made my family less sad and more appreciative of the time we got to spend with Maggie Mae. Thank you for all the wonderful work that you do at SOS. We love our new baby. In the picture you can see how much Buddy loves his new sister. Buddy is the big dog in front, Madison is laying behind him. We find them laying together 80% of the time, the other time she's laying with one of the kids or mommy and daddy. What a joy!
Bailey
We just wanted to tell you how much Bailey has made us happy and laugh a lot. She is the sweetest lovebug. Everyone who has met her wants to keep her. She has us trained very well...shows us what she wants when she wants it..ie. treats, outdoors, play, water...everything. She loves sleeping against either me or Herb, under the covers, all night. She has now realized that there is no competition, no ignoring. She has learned to trust us implicitly and realizes we just love her GREATLY!
She did EXTREMELY well with our grandchildren and other children here for the holidays. They TOTALLY LOVED her and hugged her all day long. Our little granddaughter (3) would search the whole house - including closets - to find Bailey if she thought she was missing.... so cute.
So thank you again, she is absolutely PERFECT for us. We are madly in love with her and we think she loves us too! HER CASTLE, HER PRINCE and HER FAIRY GODMOTHER!!!
Love and gratitude.

Levi
Levi is the best thing that has ever happened to us! Thank you
to Linda and SOS Beagles for making him possible. He is a
dream come true, and he adds much levity and joy to our lives.
Every day is better because of him.

Lulu
We adopted LULU, a beagle mix, from SOS Beagle Rescue last year and she is doing great with us. She is bigger than the average beagle but that's one of the things that makes her special! She loves her home here on Staten Island and she loves our front yard, and she loves all the attention she gets. We are very happy with her!
