Cookie

My husband Rich and I adopted Cookie, or as I refer to her "Miss Cookie" from your website in May 2001 (East Stroudsburg PA). I figure she is about 12 years old now (an old girl, very white in areas that used to be very red). She has been an absolute joy and the best dog I have ever owned. She is a momma’s girl for sure and I take care of her every need. She is playful still, loves to be with me - snuggling, loves to travel to my inlaws in upstate NY and looooves to eat! She has been very healthy and I pray she lives to an old age.

Miss Cookie Thank you for letting us adopt her back in 2001. She is a peanut, only 15 ½ lbs. (we think she is mixed with Chihuahua) – everyone loves her! But not more then me!

Thank you from The Pryors and Cookie!

-Lynn Pryor

P.S. Right now she is sleeping with a stuffed animal dog and a Raggedy Ann doll on the bed behind me snoring as loud as ever!

Coco

Coco I thought you might like a picture of Coco Faucett "Marcia, one of the Brady Bunch dogs" now that she is one year old. Coco is doing well. She even caught a rabbit in the backyard the other morning much to the dismay of my wife.

Best wishes,
Garrett Faucett

Heidi and Lucky

When I called her Karma she didn't bother looking but when I call her Heidi she comes most of the time. Heidi

She is a sweetheart. She wants to be on my lap all the time and so does Lucky. She is a nervous dog and afraid of many things kind of like Muffin was. She shakes when she's afraid. She loves Lucky, but I'm not so sure he loves her. I try to hug and kiss him and she comes right in between us and wants the hugs and kisses. She follows him all over. Runs after him in the yard. I have to be careful because she has tried to get out of the yard, but I have it pretty well sealed. Guess you saw the e-mail where she got out of the crate. I think she squeezed through the bottom. Now I jut let her loose in the house. She has gotten on the table twice and took a muffin and the next time a few slices of bread. They were both wrapped but I found the wrapper in the dining room. Guess they both ate it.. I have to be more careful. Haven't had a dog get on the table before. She is not a good eater though. I put the food down many times before she will eat. Then she likes to be alone when eating. She hasn't eaten even a cup of food this week.

She didn't make a sound the first few days, but now she barks at everyone that passes the house. She follows Lucky up on the chair by the window and they both love to sleep on my recliner.

Here's a photo of the two of them looking out the dining room window.

Jinx (no picture)

Just wanted to give you an update on Jinx. She's doing GREAT!! She's a wonderful little pup, very playful, no accidents yet, although I'm sure they'll be a few. She sleeps through the night in her crate and lets us know when she's up so she can go out to potty, although we had to wake her up to go out this morning as she was sleeping in longer than we did. At first our other dogs seemed somewhat uninterested with her, but they are really starting to warm up, esp. our little Papillon mix that was with when we picked her up. They chase each other around the backyard, it's hysterical!! As soon as I download the pics we've taken I'll e-mail them to you.

Thanks much,
Julie and Cory Ferguson

Daisy (no picture)

Daisy is doing great! She is being trained for invisible fence. Actually doing well. This Saturday will be the true test. Right now she is going to flag and retreating. Had a few accidents but that would be because we are puppy sitting lab for other son. 9 week old. Daisy is doing well with another female in the house. Daisy visited the vet and had a shot for skin irritation. We have pills too. Mark was very impressed by her demeanor already. Daisy sleeps with Brian or me. Buck and Daisy are getting along fantastic. I am so glad we were able to rescue Daisy. She loves to get on the furniture which she is learning is not the proper thing to do in our home. Daisy gets on the bed with my mom and sleeps. Must know mom is ill. She puts her head up next to my mom. This is good for my mom. She feels like its her dog. The smile on my mom's face lights up the room. Thank you for that!!!

Well have to run. Talk soon.

Always,
Barb
